We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector.The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:

We are looking someone to support Manufacturing Engineering. You will help Manufacturing Engineering reinforcing Performance Management activities, Contribute in Augmented & Virtual Reality projects, Artificial Intelligence projects and to the transition towards predictive and prescriptive analytics to get ready for the future Airbus challenges.

Responsibilities - your mission

  • In your role, you will be responsible to implement data analytics needs for Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Capture and analyze data analytics use cases from the business

  • Develop, maintain and update key performance indicators

  • Develop proof of concepts/prototypes with a strong focus on predictive and prescriptive analytics to support existing initiatives e.g. Eliminate non-added value activities by proactively automating recurrent analytics and performance management tasks

  • Support the industrialization of KPIs and proof of concepts with the central.
     

This role will give you the opportunity to discover many key strategic projects and work with many different stakeholders within and outside of Manufacturing Engineering.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Master or Bachelor degree in IT or Data Science. Some Engineering degrees could be also helpful.

- Advanced level of English. Spanish is a must: advanced level.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Knowledge of data analytics/big data solutions. - Prior experiences with Qlik Sense, Skywise (Palantir), Google Data Studio as well as Python Software Development, including modules for data engineering/machine learning such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow and PyTorch will be a plus

- Ability to translate business problems into meaningful insights
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment

- Strong communication towards diverse audiences (incl. senior management) and strong networking skills,
- Creativity and appetence for problem solving,
- Customer orientation to provide user-centric solution
