Senior Frontend Engineer - Platform

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at AI21, you play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience for our products and services. You'll work on the front-end development of our web-based applications and platforms, ensuring they are not only functional but also user-friendly and visually appealing. You'll contribute to the success of our company by bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and end-users, making complex AI capabilities accessible to a broad audience.

• Lead the design and development of user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing web applications to interact with AI21's language models.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
• Implement and maintain complex UI components that showcase AI-powered features, such as natural language understanding, generation, and text editing.
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Keep abreast of the latest frontend technologies and best practices, and incorporate them into the development process.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior frontend engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Participate in code reviews, quality assurance, and testing to maintain high code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance user interfaces to align with evolving product requirements and customer feedback.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on web applications.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React.
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A good understanding and hands-on experience with backend systems - advantage
