Get to Know our Team: 

Agoda is a travel booking platform and accommodation is at our core. As our accommodation partners are a key to our success, we work hard to ensure their success. That is why the Regional Management team in Agoda specializes in account management. We serve as consultants, offering strategic advice on how best to excel on Agoda’s commercial platform. We are direct contributors to what makes Agoda one of the market leaders because we understand accommodation needs and offer innovative solutions. From Bangkok to London and beyond, our team has footprints in over 50 locations around the world. With the help of industry-leading technology, we work and collaborate globally to bring together the best ideas from diverse perspectives. The PM team invests in long-term relationships that span borders and cultures and results in incredible value for Agoda, our partners, and our customers. 

The Opportunity:  

This position will be instrumental in helping the Country Directors and Regional Management to define and implement operational innovations, business intelligence solutions, and projects that improve the team’s efficiency and effectiveness. You will also provide analytical support and strategic support to Director level to solve complex problems and identify new opportunities.  

You bring analytical capability, coupled with the ability to dive into the details, and a high level of operational savvy as well as solid commercial acumen. You have a history of owning commercial projects, rolling out programs, and are relentless in driving these through to completion through the local team.  

The role is based in Malaysia and reports to the Country Director.  

Market taking care of: Malaysia & Brunei. 

In this Role, you’ll get to:  

  • Identify and implement initiatives that drive operational efficiencies  
  • Drive game changing commercial programs that accelerate the country’s growth 
  • Develop new tools that contribute to greater productivity and efficiency of your team  
  • Support local teams on tools and operations improvement  
  • Build business cases and get buy-in from stakeholders 
  • Project prioritization and planning 
  • Interpret and action strategic business goals 
  • Report and present to senior management  

What you’ll Need to Succeed:  

  • 5 years operations and commercial experience required  
  • Proven track record in project delivery and program management 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Very Strong communication and presentation skills with fluency in English 
  • Experience in working abroad or in multinational companies is a plus 
  • Experience in Internet, E-commerce, technology or travel industry experience is a plus 
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, is a plus  
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree required, MBA is a plus 
  • Team player with great collaboration skills 
  • Energetic and driven with Professional “get it done” attitude 
  • Creative and Innovative, adapts well to and is energized by change 
  • Comfortable in engaging senior stakeholders and key customers

Relocation and visa will be supported for this role!
