The Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support Workday data migration and acquisition projects.
You do not need previous Workday experience. We will provide training and support.
You will help coordinate activities, track deadlines, maintain project documentation, and work with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure employee data is prepared and migrated accurately.
In this role, you will:
- Support Workday data migration projects from planning through go-live.
- Help collect, review, clean, and validate employee data.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, risk logs, and issue trackers.
- Coordinate meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
- Support data mapping and identify missing or incorrect information.
- Help coordinate testing and track data issues and defects.
- Support cutover planning and go-live activities.
- Assist with post-go-live support and issue tracking.
- Prepare meeting notes, status updates, presentations, and project documentation.
- Work with stakeholders from HR, HRIS, IT, Payroll, Finance, vendors, and acquired companies.
- Support user communications, training materials, FAQs, and other change activities.
- Help document lessons learned and improve project processes.
What You'll Need
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, HR, IT, business operations, data administration, or a related area.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience tracking tasks, deadlines, and project activities.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with different teams and follow up on actions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn Workday and HR technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English.
It’s Great If You Have
- Experience supporting a project, system implementation, acquisition, or process improvement initiative.
- Experience with employee data, HR systems, payroll, or reporting.
- Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, Asana, or similar tools.
- Interest in Workday, data migration, and People Technology.
- Experience working with international teams or external vendors.
