Description
As an Application Engineering Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration of our collaborative robotic solutions into customer environments. You will lead a team of application engineers, collaborate with the sales team, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
- Hire, lead and mentor a team of application engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance
- Lead the application engineering team in designing and implementing collaborative robotic solutions tailored to customer specifications
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, engineering, and research & development, to provide valuable insights and feedback for product improvement
- Act as a bridge between the application engineering team and other functional areas within the organization
- Engage directly with customers on-site and virtually to understand their unique challenges and requirements
- Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, feasibility studies, and solution architectures
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the application engineering team to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of collaborative robotics
- Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides
- Document best practices for application development and integration
- Proven leadership experience in application engineering or a similar technical role, preferably in the robotics or automation industry
- Strong knowledge of collaborative robotics, including programming and integration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Business fluent English and German skills
- Independent, thorough and team oriented describes your attitude towards work
- You are enthusiastic, good communicator, highly motivated and supportive
