In line with our increasing business, we are seeking to recruit aMechanical Engineer, LNG & Green Fuels to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand team.

Qualifications

What You Should Have

We are seeking energy professionals to deliver innovative LNG supply and energy solutions to our clients. As part of an interconnected team, you will provide engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector from project development to Front end engineering design (FEED). As part of the AFRY team, you will be involved in Pre-FEED, FEED, and basic engineering across LNG and LNG-to-Power projects, Green Ammonia projects in Asia. You should be able to lead the FEED for different LNG terminals that include onshore and floating and interconnection with power plants.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
• Strong Experience in developing FEED for LNG receiving Terminal projects
• The experience is between 3 to 6 years of Mechanical engineering/design experience in the LNG terminal ( FSRU, FSU, Conversion of FSRU) that includes topside equipment, LNG storage tank, LNG regasification system, BOG handling system, etc.
• Work experience background as a Rotating Equipment/Packaged Equipment for LNG receiving terminal project is more preferable

As a Mechanical Engineer, you should be able to develop and develop the following tasks;

• Specification for LNG Cargo Pump, LNG vaporizer, LNG storage tank, BOG compressors, LNG marine loading arms and other equipment
• Develop General Arrangement Drawing for LNG Storage Tank, General Arrangement Drawing for LNG Send-out Pump, General Arrangement Drawing for LNG Vaporizer
• Develop RFQ for Long Lead Items, LNG Pump, BOG Compressors, LNG MLA etc.
• Develop Mechanical Material Take-off (MTO)
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple interfaces, and prioritize work
• Willingness to work with Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia (Power-to-X) Projects
• Expert in report writing and Fluent in English communications
• Experience in reputed Engineering firms or International Consulting firms shall be preferred
• AFRY office location is in Bangkok, Malaysia, or Indonesia
