Senior Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

As our teams grow, we want to ensure we have clear expectations and boundaries for each of new Technical Project Managers as we work cross-functionally to align on best practices, process, and overall efficiency across the various projects. The mission of a Technical Project Managers (TPM’s) is to own the execution of their teams cross-functional initiatives. Initially TPM will manage one team in our Largae-Scale Scrum Setup later TPM’s may oversee several different teams, all working toward different goals and separate work schedules. TPM’s take the lead on tracking project progress, aligning team members, and strategizing project and program outcomes. 

About the role: 

We are in search of a self-motivated, solution-oriented and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Affinidi Elements team. In this role, you will work with global peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product portfolio, from the product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and back/front-end engineering teams. You will be responsible for leading the continued enhancement and development of consumer-facing applications.

• Make sure all the expectations and acceptance criterias are documented in Jira and Confluence and be the one who assures them to match with the delivered functional. 

You will be a great match if you: 

• Have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of overall experience. Have experience with team performance optimization challenges, a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent such problems, and a desire to share your knowledge and scale through others. 
• Having prior experience with managing Backend teams (JavaScript/TypeScript/Python/Rust) and/or mobile teams (native development on Android/ iOS and/or Dart/Flutterr) is a plus. 
• Have strong experience of leading the team in delivering production quality products according to industry standards. 
• Enjoy leading the engineering team in a fast-paced startup environment where the team can be autonomous and experimental, be part of a truly global team, and can work up and down the stack. 
• Experience crafting and executing on cross functional Product-driven initiatives, including capturing and redefining requirements into impactful work items. 
• Have commercial experience managing projects in cloud computing and native environments (AWS serverless preferred). 
• Care about privacy by design, security, testing, high-performance systems. 
• Enjoy mentoring others, and is inclined towards clear communication, inclusion and visibility and transparency 
• Experience driving initiatives according to plan and timelines. 
• Prioritize effectively and multitask efficiently. 
• Proven track record of successful collaboration with internal and external partners 
• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills 
• Risk management
