Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an opportunity for an MEP Project Manager for our exciting sports complex construction project in Flushing, NY.

• Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. 
• Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. 
• Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

In total, AECOM Tishman has built more than 900 million square feet – including the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center in New York.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Engineering, Construction Management or related curriculum and 6 years of construction project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
• MEP Constuction Project Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post secondary education in Engineering is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in MEP interiors construction is critical.
• Substantial experience in construction project management, specifically in managing and awarding subcontracted labor.
• Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing complex MEP construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical systems, particularly low voltage systems, is essential.
• Verifiable success in managing heavy schedule-driven construction projects is crucial.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word) is mandatory.
