The requirements

Let’s get straight to it; what technical skills are we looking for?

• Experienced with JavaScript
• Comfortable with TypeScript
• 3+ years developing software
  Bonus: experience with a framework (we mostly use Preact and Vue)

What other characteristics should you have?

• Identify with the Adyen Formula: open minded with a proactive attitude, able to solve an immediate problem while factoring in the bigger picture
• Enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and developing yourself
• Able to gather technical requirements and create an implementation plan
• Comfortable with asking for and receiving constructive feedback from your colleagues regularly

The team

We are looking for a frontend engineer to join a user-focused team to help take our onboarding experience to the next level. This experience is offered as both a site with a single flow from start to finish and in pieces at a time as embeddable components.

The cool part

You will get to be responsible for the full life cycle of your developments. This includes communicating with stakeholders (product owners, product designers, account managers, merchants, etc.), testing, iterating purposefully, and monitoring the impact of your projects. Additionally, you will have the freedom to identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more consistent, robust, and scalable.

There are Frontend developers on many teams and keeping in sync with this group is important for keeping the speed. You will collaborate across teams and time zones to make things happen.
