The Opportunity 

If you're looking to deliver impactful user experiences for a market leading solution, to some the world's largest companies all while working with top engineers then this opportunity is for you!

Working with Data Engineers & Architects, Software Engineers, Marketers, Product Managers, and the Adobe Experience Design team you will engineer scalable e-Commerce systems for our core Merchants and Partners customers.

We use unified engineering and devops practices to build services with end-to-end ownership in mind, by integrating into the larger Adobe eco-system of platforms and services.

What you'll Do 

• Work with engineering teams to design, build, test and maintain systems and solve complex experience management operations and automation challenges.
• Review and collaborate on features, technology, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies. Inspire and encourage solution teams to build reliable and scalable services.
• Keep pace with the evolving technology trends in software development and operations to take advantage of the industry trends and translate them for Adobe.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the team (deployment, management and visibility of our services) and ensure a high level of value, productivity, quality and reliability.
• Participate in an on-call schedule.
• Adopt a Lean approach to software engineering using a Kanban practice and close collaboration with local and remote teams.

What you need to succeed 

• Knowledge of Java and familiar with Java development concepts and practices. 
• Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations.
• Familiar with a variety of the cloud and automation concepts, practices and procedures.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and their concepts.
• Experience in container technologies like Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience in automation and Observability technologies like NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus or similar is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area and 3+ years’ experiences.
• Prior knowledge of Adobe Commerce development is a huge plus.
