We need an Engineer in our Bengaluru-based team in India. We're searching for someone who loves current web tech, teamwork, solving big problems, and creating perfect user experiences.

As an Extensibility Engineer, you will distil designs into embedded experiences that integrate with frameworks at Adobe and other 3rd party platforms. You’ll participate in overall strategy, key technical planning activities, such as feature delivery, system architecture, requirements definition, project scope, and delivery expectations. The Engineer plays a key role in ensuring International solutions launch in an agile, stable and scalable way.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prototype, develop, unit-test, and deploy scalable features with flawless quality.
  • Collaborate exceptionally with teammates on the best approaches for problem-solving.
  • Perform code reviews, provide feedback to team members on coding techniques, and respond effectively to feedback from reviewers.
  • Plan, develop, monitor, and evolve needed infrastructure in collaboration with Ops partners.
  • Be committed to a Unified Engineering culture.
  • Fix and solve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
  • Adopt a highly reciprocal team that requires effective communication and quality contributions across multiple geographies.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a full stack developer.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
  • Proficient with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Good understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Degree or equivalent experience from a premium institute.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with the concepts behind design systems and how they are being applied in modern product development.
  • Hands-on experience with current build, test, and release methods, such as compilers, linting, CI/CD tooling, software testing and validation techniques, and modern dev-ops practices.
  • Solid understanding of native mobile and web development.
