The Opportunity

Join our team at Adobe as a Search DevOps Engineer. Craft and improve digital experiences for millions of users worldwide. Work on Adobe's Search and Discovery platform, simplifying and accelerating the creative journey for users by assisting them in finding assets and ingredients through search, browse, recommendation, and assistive experiences across our ecosystem. Contribute to the Content Processing Platform, a machine learning platform that powers Adobe Sensei and enables AI and ML across Adobe's cloud products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation.
  • Grow with the support of the team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you. Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
  • Engage in large-scale ML training, inference, compute orchestration, search index setup, real-time messaging & data ingestion platforms, NO-SQL databases, web services & orchestration services, and more. Additional responsibilities as needed based on specific role or team.
  • Set up cloud-based technologies to enable distributed training and inference using the latest GPU architecture and OS capabilities while also assisting in building Search platforms at Adobe.
  • Maintain and optimize search engine, identify new ideas to evolve it, develop new features, and benchmark possible solutions in terms of performance and feasibility.
  • Work closely with other engineering team members to help support product development needs, improve developer efficiency with enhanced processes, automation, and secure policies.

What one need to succeed:

  • B.S. or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • 3-7 years of relevant MLOps, DevOps or a related field is highly valued, along with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience in building, deploying, and handling infrastructures in public clouds (AWS, Azure)
  • Excellent programming Python/Ruby/Shell/Golang) and automation skills
  • Exposure to set up large scale databases, no-SQL technologies, distributed systems such as Spark, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and performance tuning.
  • Customer-focused with a real passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to Linux/Unix System Administration experience
  • Experience with Git, Perforce, and Jenkins, exposure to cloud/virtualization technologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,400 -- $206,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
