Job Description

  • We seek a dedicated and passionate engineer eager to develop the next generation of fast, always-on cloud services for subscription management and purchasing. These services cover many products, plans, promotions, purchase methods, and regions for Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and other Adobe offerings. You will provide essential services used by various clients to support flexible and scalable subscription workflows. If you enjoy writing high-quality code, want to build highly scalable and reliable services, and are intrigued by Micro-services Architecture, this opportunity is for you.

    What you will do

  • Participate in all aspects of software development activities including building, coding, code review, unit-testing, integration testing, and bug fixing.

  • Work independently to build and deliver medium to complex functionality.

  • Work together with colleagues to develop a scalable and high-performance solution that requires minimal operational effort.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional colleagues to guarantee an excellent end-to-end user experience for our customers.

  • Fast prototyping of ideas and concepts and researching the latest industry trends.

  • Build features that make our products easier to use. We constantly experiment to improve our products for users. You will help track metrics and develop ideas to increase adoption.

  • Perform analysis and experimentation for the data flowing through different systems/services.

  • Build data consistency and validation features to deliver high-quality data.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
  • Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML concepts, with exposure to AI tools, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with client-side frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, jQuery is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and direct experience with DevOps in a SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Customer-focused and have a real passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
