For our team in Berlin, we are looking for a Tech Lead (d/f/m). Our agile team focuses on creating amazing tools that help our dealer customers achieve success. If you’re passionate about automotive and user-driven innovation, this is the team for you!

Reporting directly to your Engineering Manager, you will play an important role in the development and architecture of mobile.de’s dealer applications and capabilities , acting at the level of the Dealer Platform Engineering organization.

This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

What you’ll do:

• You will ensure the smooth operation of the team’s applications and artifacts.

• You will ensure code quality across the team’s artifacts.

• You will coach other engineers on technology and framework choices, and best practices for implementation.

• You will create a technical vision together with the engineers and the principle engineer.

• You will encourage positive changes inside and outside of the team.

• You will facilitate the collaboration between teams.

• You will be the “go-to” person for technical questions.

Who you are:

• You have min. 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor on Senior+ level with a strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful API's and Cloud Environments.

• You have a talent for connecting with others.

• You lead by example.

• You have experience taking ownership of architectural decisions in the relevant industry, including applying architectural design principles.

• You have several years of experience documenting the technical architecture of artifacts.

• Your strengths lie in creating connections across different departments, communicating concepts, and encouraging positive working relationships with several teams throughout the company. Your skill in smooth teamwork plays a crucial role in achieving successful outcomes.
