About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead and own the data analytics function within our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing large datasets, automation, and visualisation, using tools like PowerQuery, Power BI, Data Bricks, Tableau etc. Ideally, they have graduated from a technical study and have worked for several years as a data analyst.  

This is a high-impact role where you will be the go-to expert for data analytics within the team, driving best practices and leading initiatives to improve reporting and analytics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Data Analytics Function

• Own and develop the team's data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.

• Define and implement best practices for data management, automation, and visualization.

Data Management & Automation

• Gather, clean, and standardize large financial and operational datasets from multiple sources.

• Build and automate workflows using PowerQuery, SQL, or other ETL tools.

Advanced Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau (or similar tools) to support strategic decision-making.

• Implement AI/ML-driven analytics where relevant to enhance forecasting and insights.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with finance and business teams to translate data into actionable insights.

• Ensure alignment on data definitions, accuracy, and consistency across the company.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, and reporting efficiency.

• Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies in data analytics and AI.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, automation, and business intelligence.

• Ability to lead and own the data analytics function, working independently and proactively.

• Bachelor’s/BSc or Master’s/MSc degree in a quantitative, technical, or analytical field, such as: 

  • Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems

  • Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics 

  • Business Analytics, Operations Research (useful for business-driven insights)

• Expertise in

  • Excel and/or Google Sheets (Advanced)

  • PowerQuery (Advanced), DataBricks (Intermediate or above) and/or other data transformation tools

  • SQL (Advanced)

  • Python (Intermediate or above)

  • Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker (Intermediate or above)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling complex datasets.

• Excellent communication skills to translate data into business insights for senior stakeholders.
