What you’ll do ​& Who you are

We are looking for a new colleague to join our team of Kleinanzeigen's for commercial users in Berlin as a Business Data Analyst (d/f/m).

About our team:

• As part of a cross-functional team that includes members from sales, business development, marketing, analytics, product management, commercial systems, customer service and finance, we cover, manage and analyze subscriber & revenue-related processes, tools and data.

• We design the architecture of a scalable organisation with a focus on analyzing business customers across sales channels, categories, products and regions 

• As a company and as a team, we succeed, fail and learn together! Within the team, we share knowledge, challenge each other and develop common standards

Your tasks:

• Design, develop, measure and monitor relevant financial and non-financial metrics with a focus on market, product, sales, service and accounting 

• Answering complex questions from the entire team by translating them into data-driven key figures and dashboards

• Automating recurring analyses (e.g. sales campaigns, checking the achievement of business goals, data quality) and further developing our data warehouse

• Analyzing large amounts of data to gain valuable insights and enable data-driven decision-making processes

• Identifying, selecting and integrating existing and new tools, applications and data sources

• Developing methods and standards to support our sales, customer services and financial operations growth

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business informatics or comparable education / professional experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in data analytics

• Passion for data and deep understanding of data models and metrics

• Very good knowledge of business intelligence, visualisation software and analytical programming languages & tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL, Python, AWS etc.)

• You speak the language of a managing director, a sales representative as well as that of a developer

• Ideally you have experience from an internet-based platform or B2B service, digital advertising or digital marketing

• Experience in sales, customer service, controlling/finance is a plus

• You are a committed team player who enjoys working with stakeholders from different areas in an agile environment

• Fluent in English and German (B2)
