The Role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Billing Team! 

We’re building a scalable, feature-rich billing system for wealth management firms of all sizes. The platform will enable our clients to accurately bill for their services by managing their fee structures, bill their clients & reconcile the payments received. More information is available here.

We’re looking for a dynamic Engineer who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and cultivate an environment that creates high-quality engineering processes and product delivery. You love building rich user experiences, efficient and scalable frontends and can amplify your skills through your team. You’ll work closely with product and design to deliver great products.

Our engineering stack is primarily composed of a Java backend and Ember frontend, however we don’t require experience with any specific tool set. We’re looking for an individual who’s forever learning, inspired to own problems and excited to work in an environment of big challenges & the support required to overcome them. Your role in the Billing team will have a heavier backend focus, but will also include opportunities to extend our user interface.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver significant features on our platform.
  • Own features in small chunks or end-to-end, writing clean and concise code.
  • Contribute to our inclusive and dynamic engineering culture.
  • Never stop learning or questioning our processes and practices. Don’t be afraid to challenge the norm.

Who You Are

  • A professional software engineer who’s most proficient in the backend and excited by the frontend.
  • Experienced with Java or a similar backend language.
  • Experienced with Ember or a similar frontend framework (React, Angular, etc).
  • Collaborative in your approach to building feature-rich user experiences.
  • Experience in finance and a public cloud environment is a plus!
