About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Operations Engineer to help shape and define the next iteration of the infrastructure that manages Ada Health’s IT and endpoints. You will leverage configuration tools such as Terraform, Okta and Jamf Pro as well as a range of enterprise software to maintain a consistent and seamless user experience for our employees.  If you want the opportunity to work with the latest technologies in an innovative, AI led organization, and drive some really interesting projects around automation then this is the role for you!

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement where you will be based in our Berlin office 2 to 3 days a week.

What you’ll do

• Develop, manage, and document internal IT infrastructure, including cloud servers (GCP, AWS) and services (Okta, Github, Google Workspace, Cloudflare, Jira, Confluence, Slack).
• Manage and scale our fleet of macOS and Windows devices and related infrastructure (Jamf Pro, Intune).
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Okta, Terraform, Python and Okta Workflows/Zapier.
• Drive security standards in collaboration with the information security team and establish best practices for our enterprise environment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR) and manage backups and recovery processes.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level IT support to employees.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years' experience performing a similar IT role at a senior level.
• Experience working on Okta, Atlassian, GWS, Github and writing infrastructure as code
• Experience managing macOS or Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python or Bash .
• Experience leveraging APIs to integrate with existing tools, as well as experience with Jamf Pro.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on improving IT infrastructure and user experience.
• You live and breathe IT, are always working on developing new skills, and love to solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
