Role Overview: Are you passionate about mathematics, financial markets, and high-performance technology? ActiveViam is seeking bright and enthusiastic Java Software Engineers to join our expanding business solutions team. You will play a critical role in analyzing financial regulations, understanding their mathematical underpinnings, and developing innovative, scalable solutions. This position offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across our global network. This is a hybrid work environment, requiring you to be in our New York office two days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Analyze and interpret financial regulations, focusing on their mathematical foundations.

·       Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using Java.

·       Collaborate with product managers, domain experts, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

·       Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure software efficiency and reliability.

·       Investigate and resolve technical challenges, ensuring robust and reliable code delivery.

·       Provide Level 3 (L3) support for customer-reported issues.

·       Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and software development.

What You Bring:

·       A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

·       A deep passion for mathematics and problem-solving, with the ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world challenges.

·       2+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Core Java.

·       Proficiency in performance analysis, debugging, and optimization techniques.

·       Experience with Spring IoC and Spring Security frameworks.

·       Solid understanding of OOP, multithreading, and data structures.
