Your mission is to build digital experiences that bring joy to our customers and elevate our digital storefront, POS systems & internal tools to new heights. By collaborating closely with our UI/UX designers, you will bridge the gap between visual design and technical implementation, ensuring that our web applications and internal tools not only look stunning but also function flawlessly. Our frontend technology stack was built on NextJS and runs on Vercel — and a back-end built on Ruby on Rails (Solidus).

  • Implementing responsive designs and ensure a seamless user experience across various devices and platforms

  • Participating in the full web development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, working with cutting-edge serverless architecture

  • Optimising website performance with tools such as Cloudflare Workers and Vercel Edge Config enabling advanced caching and real-time API responses.

  • Engaging in continuous testing, bug fixing, and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards

  • Taking ownership of front-end features, contributing to the design of both the website's appearance and functionality

  • Working together with colleagues of all disciplines to create campaigns, improve usability & implement A/B tests

You...

  • Have 2+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a focus on web application development.

  • Are proficient in modern Javascript and have worked with popular Frontend Frameworks (Nextjs / Astro / Nuxt / SvelteKit etc.)

  • Have experience in working with serverless architecture

  • Have a strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.

  • Have proven ability to collaborate effectively in an all-remote, cross-functional team environment.

  • Have excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

  • Have a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Nice if you have...

  • Experience with Cloudflare or other CDNs to optimise website performance

  • Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient data fetching and manipulation

  • Understanding of SEO best practices to optimise website discoverability

  • Knowledge of eCommerce concepts, such as cart management, payment gateways, and product catalogues

  • Previous involvement in A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to optimise user experience and drive conversion rates

  • Experience in building accessible web applications, adhering to WCAG guidelines and ensuring inclusivity for all users.

What's in it for you...

  • Being part of a young and very ambitious team;
  • A flexible hybrid work environment
  • Personal development opportunities;
  • Wellbeing: healthy snacks, a collab with ClassPass and unlimited access to an online-psychologist OpenUp;
  • 25 holidays per year (based on full time) plus additional tenure based days;
  • Travel reimbursement if you live more than 10kms from our HQ;
  • Company pension plan;
  • The chance to be involved with every aspect of a rapidly growing company
  • Daily nutritious lunch;
