The Role

We are looking for a Member of the Technical Staff to join our engineering team and help build the infrastructure that powers the next generation of autonomous AI agents. You will work at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and browser automation - designing and developing systems that enable AI agents to reliably and securely interact with real-world software.

This is a foundational engineering role. You will have significant ownership over core systems and direct impact on the product and architecture.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop cutting-edge AI infrastructure, including agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, and security and cloud infrastructure

• Design and develop autonomous browsing agents that interact with enterprise applications through their UI, just like a human operator would

• Collaborate across engineering and research teams to integrate external tools, improve model reliability, and ensure secure, aligned behavior in dynamic online environments

• Build and maintain the Skill Engine that ingests institutional knowledge (SharePoint, Confluence, internal runbooks) and maps real workflows into reusable, hardened agent skills

• Develop supervised parallel execution systems that allow dozens of agents to run simultaneously with human-in-the-loop oversight for exceptions and sensitive actions

• Work on model-agnostic orchestration layers with queues, retries, concurrency, and scheduling to support high-volume, repetitive enterprise tasks

• Contribute to our open-source projects and help shape the developer experience for computer-use agent infrastructure

What We Are Looking For

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with production experience building complex, distributed systems

• Proficiency in at least one of: Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) including containers, networking, and security

• Familiarity with AI/ML systems, LLM integrations, or agent frameworks

• Comfort working with browser automation, headless browsers, or web scraping at scale

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack — from low-level network issues to high-level agent behavior

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with high ownership and minimal hand-holding

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points

• Experience building enterprise-grade software for regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government)

• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as SOC 2, SOX, GDPR, or PCI-DSS

• Contributions to open-source projects

• Experience with Windows-native development, thick-client automation, or legacy system integration

• Background in reinforcement learning, evaluation frameworks for AI agents, or model routing
