Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or software as a service solutions. This role requires overseeing the configuration processes, managing integrations with various systems, and coordinating release activities to ensure smooth deployment. The position demands setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. The role also involves proactive planning and collaboration to adapt solutions to evolving needs and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance solution quality and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and backup and recovery strategies.
- Experience in managing database security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with database automation tools and scripting for routine maintenance tasks.
- Capability to work with cross-functional teams to support database integration and deployment activities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
