Job Summary: 
We are seeking a Junior Developer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team, specializing in Application Development Management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AS400, COBOL, and DB2, particularly within the banking industry. Experience in Banking projects, especially in collections, is highly preferred. You will contribute to developing and maintaining robust banking applications that meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform using COBOL (mandatory) and possibly RPG (nice to have). 

• Database Management: Interact with DB2 for data management, querying, and ensuring efficient integration between the application and database. 

• SDLC Participation: Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. 

• Banking Projects: Support and enhance banking-related applications, with a focus on collections and other banking functions. 

• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality software solutions are delivered on time. 

• Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the application, ensuring smooth operational functionality. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience as an AS400 developer, ideally in the banking or financial services domain. 

• Technical Skills: 
  • Mandatory: Strong proficiency in COBOL programming language. 
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with RPG and/or CACS (Credit and Collections Management System). 
  • Database: Experience with DB2. 
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes. 
  • Banking Experience: Experience in collections or other banking-related application development. 
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with CACS (Credit and Collections Management System) is a plus. 

• Knowledge of other relevant banking technologies and platforms.
