Functional Tester
Location: Arlington, VA

The Work:
- Develops, maintains, and upgrades test scripts and architectures for application products
- Writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing
- Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports
- Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.
- Support with ELM/JIRA management (e.g., navigation across features, logging defects)
- Reviews test plans and test reports for technical competence, effectiveness, and compliance with standards
- Observes and evaluates the execution of customer acceptance test activities
- Performs integration activities involving developed application software
- Identifies and documents problems and issues, providing specific guidance on root-cause and remediation
- Applies best practices for elaboration, testing and training

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree

Would Be Nice To Have:
- Familiar with Pega or similar low-code COTS platforms testing suites, capabilities, and functionalities
- Experience with enterprise lifecycle management and requirements documentation tools
- Agile implementation using Scale Agile Framework (SAFe)

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
