Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that development practices meet established standards, while also focusing on scalability and performance to align with organizational goals. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the role involves steering teams toward successful project outcomes and maintaining a high level of technical excellence throughout the process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Jakarta EE.
- Must have good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Multithreading.
- Must have experience on Relational database preferably Azure SQL.
- Must have experience on Messaging through MQ/Kafka.
- Must have experience on Spring (Core, Boot, Ws, etc.) and other open source tools & frameworks (Solr, Camel, Swagger, etc.).
- Must have experience on REST Web Services / micro services.
- Should have experience on AI-assisted software development.
- Good to have experience on Web front-end experience (Angular / react JS / HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Ext-JS).

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Jakarta EE.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
