Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to refine and enhance software solutions, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements. Utilizing contemporary development frameworks and agile methodologies, the engineer focuses on delivering scalable and efficient software that aligns with organizational goals. Problem-solving and iterative improvement are key aspects of daily activities, contributing to the creation of robust and high-quality software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective software designs.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing software architectures.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.
- Experience with embedded software development and integration within automotive systems.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles relevant to digital cockpit environments.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems and hardware-software interfacing.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software and hardware integration.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
