Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software components are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that the solutions remain efficient and aligned with evolving business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration into project workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong experience in designing and developing custom software solutions using modern development frameworks.
- Ability to work within agile environments and contribute effectively to iterative development cycles.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues to maintain system reliability.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at DDC 1 - STPI.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
