Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet business needs and technical requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for project activities, overseeing the progress and quality of deliverables while managing priorities and timelines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align efforts and drive the successful implementation of custom software solutions within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Lead the coordination of project activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to promote understanding and effective decision-making.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom applications within the SAP HANA environment.
- Strong knowledge of database programming and performance tuning specific to SAP HANA.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable code following best practices in SAP ABAP.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools used in SAP landscapes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at CODC1A - SEZ.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
