Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions you develop are scalable and perform efficiently. Your work is focused on meeting unique business requirements through innovative approaches and continuous enhancement of software products, contributing to the overall success of the project and organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Maintain and update existing software components to improve functionality and performance.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance software development processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- Strong experience in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software components.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware solutions.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
