Summary: As an Application Developer for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using SAP FI CO Finance. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions to meet those requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop solutions using SAP FI CO Finance. - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Develop and maintain technical documentation related to application development. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed. Professional & Technical Skills: • Seeking a highly skilled SAP Tax Expert with extensive experience in managing tax processes within the OneSource Indirect Tax Suite. • Should have a deep understanding of SAP and 3rd Party Tax systems and tax compliance requirements, coupled with proficiency in leveraging OneSource Indirect Tax Suite to streamline tax operations. • This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate cross-functionally to optimize tax processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. • Configure and maintain OneSource Indirect Tax Suite modules to meet specific tax compliance requirements. • Lead tax automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy of tax calculations and reporting. • Provide expert-level support for tax-related systems and processes, with a focus on SAP and OneSource Indirect Tax Suite. • Respond promptly to production issues related to tax calculations, reporting, and compliance, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime. • Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal functioning of tax systems. • Coordinate with software vendors and internal stakeholders to implement patches, upgrades, and enhancements to tax software solutions. • Develop and maintain documentation (KB articles, SOP and run-books) for production support processes, including incident resolution procedures and system configurations. • Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tax systems and integrations. • Lead testing efforts for tax system changes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing during Major Upgrades, Yearly refreshes etc. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP FI CO Finance. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions using SAP FI CO Finance. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
