Position Summary

Internally, this role is called  Delivery Manager. In this role,  you are responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and business goals. The role requires cross-functional collaboration, risk management, regular client communication, and maintaining project documentation, along with driving internal progress tracking and onboarding processes. 

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

The Delivery is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, objectives, and timelines. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, milestones, resources, and dependencies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external clients throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on project goals, progress, and any potential risks or issues.
  • Coordinate resources, including internal teams and third-party partners, to allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively. 
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary skills, tools, and support to deliver on project commitments.
  • Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact project success, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. 
  • Monitor project progress closely and take corrective actions as needed to minimize disruptions and keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets closely to ensure adherence to schedule and financial constraints. 
  • Identify any deviations or scope changes early on and work with stakeholders to adjust plans accordingly while minimizing the impact on project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests. 
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, milestones achieved, and any relevant metrics or KPIs.
  • Proactively engage with clients to solicit feedback, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction with project deliverables and the implementation process. 
  • Strive to exceed client expectations and cultivate strong, long-term relationships.
  • Evaluate project performance and lessons learned to identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and knowledge sharing across projects. 
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of AccelByte's project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Bachelors or relevant work experience or certification/courses. 
  • At least 4 years of experience as a delivery manager, technical project manager, or in any similar role. 
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication
  • Experience in technical communication
  • Experience in end-to-end project management 
  • Experience in process management
  • Experience in data-driven problem-solving
  • Basic experience in AccelByte products and services
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile development methodologies.
  • Basic experience in application programming interface (REST API, Websocket API, etc.)
  • Basic experience in customer support platform
  • Basic experience of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with UE4/Unity and other tools used in developing online video games is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience working in the game industry is preferred
  • Experience in delivering SaaS products is highly desirable
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language 
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules
