About the Role

In FY25, Abnormal Security has an ambitious goal to establish their product offerings to heavily restricted environments. This is where a Senior SRE comes in, helping us build tools and processes for releasing software and making sure they are running at scale.

What you will do 

  • Build processes and tools for releasing the company’s cybersecurity product suite in a restricted environment (AWS GovCloud).
  • Embed with a small team of infrastructure and product engineers and own the process of change and release management in a regulated environment.
  • Build observability pipelines and integrations, define and monitor SLAs/SLOs for critical systems, actively tracking deviations and triggering alerts when necessary.

Must Haves 

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for the reliability of shared services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes) and deployment management configurations (Helm).
  • The ability to collaborate with developers to create and manage self-service deployments of services they own.
  • Experience collaborating with Security teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Nice to Have 

  • Experience working in environments which are designed to meet Federal compliance framework requirements such as FedRAMP and DoD SRG.
  • Experience building and managing infrastructure in AWS GovCloud.
  • Experience building CI / CD pipelines using
