Developer (Functional & Technical)

Location: Singapore

• Design and build custom applications beyond standard ITSM, with a focus on Finance-related workflows.
• Develop scoped applications for processes including Purchase Order (PO) management, Sales Order (SO) tracking, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) handling.
• Strong experience in Workspace.
• Build reusable components, Flow Designer flows, and Business Rules that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Translate functional requirements from Finance and business stakeholders into robust solutions.
• Maintain high code quality standards - enforce naming conventions, logging, error handling, and documentation.

• Implement complex, multi-tier approval workflows within .
• Build dynamic approval systems driven by financial thresholds, cost centre hierarchies, and organisational structures.
• Configure and customise the Approval Engine to support SAP-aligned process logic.
• Ensure approval audit trails and compliance reporting are built into every workflow.

• Design and implement bi-directional integrations between and SAP S/4HANA (and related SAP modules: MM, SD, PS, FI/CO).
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SAP OData services, MuleSoft, SAP BTP / CPI, or Integration Hub as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain IntegrationHub spokes and subflows for SAP data exchange.
• Manage data synchronisation for SAP master data including vendors, customers, cost centres, WBS elements, and purchase orders.
• Ensure integration resilience through error handling, retry logic, and operational monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional and technical teams to align integration contracts and interface designs.

• Engage with Finance, Procurement, and Project Management stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Translate SAP process knowledge (PTP, LTC, RTR) into equivalent workflows and automation.
• Conduct fit/gap analysis between standard capabilities and business requirements.
• Produce functional design documents, technical specifications, and process flow diagrams.
• Support UAT and SIT cycles — prepare test cases, coordinate testing with business users, and resolve defects.

• Administer and manage platform instances across development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain Update Sets, manage deployment pipelines, and coordinate release processes.
• Enforce platform governance standards — code review, instance health, performance, and security.
• Configure and maintain users, roles, groups, and ACLs in line with security and compliance requirements.
• Perform regular platform health checks and optimisation activities.

• Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior developers.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, PMO, and functional consultants to ensure solutions are aligned with programme objectives.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews, contributing domain expertise.
• Support pre-sales and solutioning activities including effort estimation and solution presentations where required.

• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on development experience, with demonstrable delivery beyond standard ITSM implementations.
• Proven experience building custom applications — scoped apps, custom tables, forms, portals, and application logic.
• Strong experience developing Finance-related processes within , including PO, SO, and WBS-related workflows.
• Strong experience designing and implementing complex multi-level approval workflows within .
• Strong hands-on experience integrating with SAP — S/4HANA, ECC, or related SAP modules.
• Good understanding of both the functional and technical dimensions of — able to bridge business requirements and platform delivery.
• Proficiency in development toolset:

• Familiarity with SAP process areas: Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Lead-to-Cash (TTC), Record-to-Report (RTR), or Project Systems.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation including interface specs, solution designs, and data flow diagrams
