R&D Senior Engineer__
Your Role: Own the Challenge
Are you passionate about software quality and eager to shape the future of industrial automation? Join our mapp View team and help develop a modern HTML-based HMI framework optimized for PLCs and embedded systems. As part of an agile, cross-functional team of around 20 colleagues, you'll play a key role in ensuring our product delivers an outstanding user experience and meets the highest quality standards.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
Drive software quality by analyzing requirements, designing and implementing automated and exploratory tests, and performing reviews.
Take ownership of the product by contributing to sprint goals, supporting implementation tasks, and ensuring reliable, high-quality releases.
Continuously improve our product and development processes by identifying optimization opportunities, introducing new technologies, and sharing best practices.
Understand customer needs by translating use cases into effective test strategies while maintaining clear documentation and other quality-related deliverables.

What it takes to Run what runs the world
Technical education with a focus on software engineering.
5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Good knowledge of C/C++, Qt, web technologies, and test frameworks.
Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and modern DevOps tools.
Analytical mindset and structured, solution-oriented way of working.
Team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Enjoy working in an international, agile SCRUM environment.
Fluent English required; German and ISTQB certification are a plus.
