This Position reports to:
Team LeaderAt Corporate Technology Center in Kraków, we create innovative solutions that are implemented in ABB products and systems. This is a unique opportunity to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity, and innovation are highly valued.
About the Internship:
- Start date: as soon as possible (18 August or 1 September 2026)
- Hybrid work model
- Availability of 20–25 hours per week

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical simulations and numerical analyses of medium-voltage switchgear
- Support the preparation and simplification of models for structural analysis of products from ABB's portfolio
- Contribute to technical reports and presentations summarizing engineering results
- Learn engineering simulation tools and analytical methods under the guidance of experienced specialists
Requirements:
- 3rd or 4th year student of Mechanical Engineering, Automation & Robotics, Materials Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with 3D CAD software, SolidWorks or similar
- Communicative English skills with the ability to read technical documentation
- Eagerness to learn numerical simulations and mechanical engineering analysis
- Basic knowledge of Python is a plus
