This position reports to:

Principal Technical Support Engineer

In this role, you will support the development of hardware and software tools and procedures to ensure consistent and professional commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of Critical Power products (UPS, STS, power conditioning). You will analyze technical documentation and system behavior to provide guidance to software developers. You will test the tools at customer sites and in test environments. You will work with field service technicians to fully understand their workflows and identify opportunities to improve their performance.

This role contributes to the Global Service Engineering team. The main stakeholders are the product R&D teams, service software developers, and field service engineers.

You will join a newly formed, rapidly developing, globally focused team where you will be able to thrive.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Analyzing technical documentation to support the developers writing programs that support the field service technician’s jobs.

  • Testing new programs both in test areas and at customer site to ensure they work as expected.

  • Engaging with service technician to train them on the tool and learn from their usage to improve the tool.

  • Writing proposals for new Service applications, equipment, and methods.

Qualifications for the role:

  • A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher academic qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

  • Several years of hands-on experience in commissioning, after-sales technical support, and advanced diagnostics of UPS, PCS, or energy storage solutions are beneficial.

  • Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting mission-critical applications such as data centers, high-volume industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure installations would be a plus.

  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication (B2 level or higher) Knowledge of any other language is a welcome asset.

  • The ability to write clear and concise technical documents, reports, and field support procedures.

  • A willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide, with a travel commitment of up to 50%.
