Your role and responsibilities

In charge of the engineering standardization team, responsible for technical management, BOM optimization, project delivery and team performance improvement.

The work model for the role is: onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead the team to cooperate with TC, manage overall technical documents and review the drawings / specifications.
• Take charge of new product BOM creation & review; continuously optimize BOM and expand product functions per market and engineering requirements.
• Manage standardization of electrical & mechanical design, unify design specifications and improve design consistency.
• Lead compilation, revision, implementation and iteration of standardization and process documents.
• Organize technical problem analysis, rectification and closed-loop management; coordinate production issues and provide technical support.
• Cooperate with cross- team to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery.
• Manage electrical and mechanical engineer team, establish training mechanism, and comprehensively improve team design quality and efficiency.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Good command of power system knowledge and MV switchgear technology on manufacture process, standards and application. Be familiar with SAP, MS word and Excel, AutoCAD, Solidworks or Eplan etc.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral.
• 10 years of product management or engineering experience for switchgear.
• Good communication skill.
• Highly responsible, self-motivated and Willing to take on additional tasks.
• A very strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit.
• Has a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work.
