This position reports to:
Senior Project Engineer__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
Developing and releasing electrical schematic drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for Motor Control Center (MCC) projects configurations following UL/NEC standards.
Taking ownership of assigned orders from design to release, ensuring on-time delivery and first-time-right quality standards.
Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, project management, and quality to ensure accurate and timely order release.
Identifying, documenting, and following up on engineering discrepancies through established tools to drive continuous improvement.
Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor´s Degree in Automation, mechatronic or electrical engineering.
2+ years of experience in positions as electrical project engineer or automation project engineer.
Experience in electrical software as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, Windchill & CREO.
Experience in Electrical Power Distribution Systems & Metal sheet Manufacturing.
Understanding of power systems, such as low-voltage technology, power system analysis, and protection relay.
Project management skills.
Demonstrated ability in analyzing and solving problems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced English level.
