Are you interested in manufacturing processes and everything involved in producing finished products in the pulp and paper industry?

We are looking for new colleagues to join our MES team in Ostrava and help us implement MES solutions for customers in the Czech Republic and abroad. We work with the Finnish system ABB Ability™ MES for Pulp and Paper.

In this role, you can be based in our offices in Ostrava, Pilsen, or Brno, or work in a hybrid setup combining home office and office work.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Secondary or university degree in Information Technology, Economics, Process Automation, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience working with ERP, MES, or other information systems
• Experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL programming
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, etc.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (approximately 20-30 days per year)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (communication with international colleagues and customers)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to learn the ABB development toolset based on PL/SQL

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Understanding of industrial communication, automation, and system interfaces
• Experience with C, C++, C#, or web development
