Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you will execute assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing curate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business Smart Power division in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design and Develop - Active Participation in design/creation of scalable software solution, Design client/server-side components of web applications, Develop both front-end and back-end components, Develop solution targeting the cloud architecture, Coding and Implementations, Create/Maintain APIs, Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications, Write clean, functional code for both front-end and back-end.

• Create and maintain Unit Test Cases and documentation, Testing and Debugging, Ensuring existing system functionality is intact and adding test cases to regression as needed., Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the software solution.

• Collaboration and Communication, Work with other development team members, product owner to ideate solutions, Collaborate with other teams and analysts for software improvement, Write technical documentation for reference and reporting, Maintenance and Optimization, Maintenance / Updates to the applications as an ongoing activity

• Perform code refactoring as needed., Optimize the solutions - aligning to the enterprise standards for the security, performance, and scalability, Ensure security and data protection settings are maintained.

Qualifications for the role:

• 4-8 years’ experience with full-Stack Development - Strong understanding of client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) components. Proficiency in HTML, CSS for structuring web content and styling, Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for dynamic web interactions., Good Experience with frameworks like ReactJS, Angular or Vue.js.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap)., Experience in Agile methodologies and concepts. Back-End Development - Experience in designing and implementing high-performance web applications using:.NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), Database and Data Storage.

• Knowledge of any CMS (Contentful, Strapi) (Strong plus), Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase Firestore). Microservices and REST Services: - Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architecture., Experience with RESTful APIs.

• Azure DevOps: Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps processes., Creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines., Branching strategies and version control., Cloud and Containerization: - Familiarity with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) architecture., Understanding of containerization (Docker).

• Additional Advantage: - Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)., Prior experience working with configurators domain. Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field., Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner) are a plus.
