Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines using approved automation and deployment tools.
• Supports operational and delivery requirements analysis and clarifies technical needs with the team.
• Implements automation changes and performs testing and validation of deployment processes.
• Follows established DevOps practices, infrastructure standards and operational procedures.
• Maintains and updates technical documentation related to deployment, automation and operational processes.
• Troubleshoots delivery, infrastructure and application issues and proposes solutions for review.
• Describes DevOps practices, tools and procedures to team members and stakeholders.
• Checks systems, pipelines and operational processes and recommends adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Solves routine technical and operational problems using prior experience and available 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience in DevOps, software engineering, platform engineering or related technical roles.
• Practical knowledge of source control systems, automation tools and scripting languages.
• Experience with GitHub and Git-based development workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and software delivery practices.
• Understanding of infrastructure, cloud services or operational support processes.
• Ability to work independently within established frameworks.
• Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical contacts.
• Ability to analyse routine issues and propose practical improvements.
• Education and experience in software engineering, computer science or a related field.
