SME Systems Engineer - API (TS/SCI w/CI Poly Clearance Required)

We are seeking candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience to support cloud-based development across Windows/COTS applications with a strong focus on API gateway, API management, and secure integration.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant experience
• STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
• Meet DoDD 8140 requirements (e.g., Security+ CE)
• Expertise working with Windows platforms and COTS applications in cloud environments
• 5+ years experience with API gateway technologies (Broadcom API experience strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
  • API design principles
  • Security best practices
  • Industry-standard protocols
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with strong communication
• Strong problem-solving / analytical skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Demonstrated engineering rigor and quality discipline
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including log investigation and root-cause analysis
• Experience with cloud architecture and system design
• Experience with system testing and validation
• Strong documentation skills
