Position Summary

6sense is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer with expertise in Salesforce Sales & Revenue Cloud to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence in India. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for developing custom solutions and integrations on the Salesforce platform, ensuring lightweight, consistent governance and alignment with industry practices. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions. This role will be responsible for defining and shaping Quote to Cash technical solutions using best practices with a focus on CPQ and Billing

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

  • As the Salesforce developer you are responsible to translate business needs into technical specifications, design and development solutions, test and deploy them into production
  • Design and develop robust Salesforce solutions, leveraging Salesforce declarative or programmatic tools
  • In depth understanding of Product & Pricing modeling/configuration, Product Upgradation, CPQ Approvals, Quote to cash process, approval flows and Order & Billing Process
  •  Deep knowledge subscription management and the order lifecycle from sales to deal desk to finance
  • Document as-is and to-be architecture solutions. Present complex solutions, options and benefits to key technical program stakeholders
  • Optimize existing codebase and system architecture with a focus on scalability, increased efficiency and automation which entails reconfiguration and re-architecting current solution
  • Meet with internal business stakeholders to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades, patches, and new releases
  • Assist in ensuring that processes and operations comply with corporate policy, IT policy and SOX General Computer Controls

Educational and Experience Requirements :

  • Experience with working at fast growing, global SaaS product companies with annual revenue >$1B
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 6+ years' experience in Salesforce Platform development (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and 2
  • Expertise in designing, coding and implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, Components etc. Visualforce components, SOQL and SOSL languages
  • Strong functional knowledge of Lead to Cash process with expertise in Quote-to-Cash
  • Experience with user management, Roles/Profiles, Permission sets, Custom objects, Page layouts, Custom fields, Validations, Managed Packages
  •  Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
