Position Summary

6sense, a product-based company, is looking for a Salesforce Developer with expertise in Salesforce Sales, Experience Cloud to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence in Pune, India. This role will be responsible for developing custom solutions and integrations on the Salesforce platform, ensuring lightweight, consistent governance and alignment with industry practices. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions. This role will focus on Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

  • As the Salesforce developer you are responsible to translate business needs into technical specifications, design and development solutions, test and deploy them into production
  • Design and develop robust Salesforce solutions, leveraging Salesforce declarative or programmatic tools
  • Deep understanding of Sales concepts such as use of Campaigns, Lead conversion, Opportunity lifecycle, Account & Contact management
  • Proven ability to design and deliver Customer Support solutions using Service Cloud best practices for case management automation, console components, milestones, and knowledge
  • Document as-is and to-be architecture solutions. Present complex solutions, options and benefits to key technical program stakeholders
  • Optimize existing codebase and system architecture with a focus on scalability, increased efficiency and automation which entails reconfiguration and re-architecting current solution
  • Meet with internal business stakeholders to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades, patches, and new releases
  • Assist in ensuring that processes and operations comply with corporate policy, IT policy and SOX General Computer Controls

Educational and Experience Requirements : 

  • Experience with working at fast growing, global SaaS product companies with annual revenue >$1B
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 7+ years' work experience in the industry as a developer
  • 5+ years' experience in Salesforce Platform development (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and 2
  • Salesforce Certified Sales and Service Cloud Consultant
  • Expertise in designing, coding and implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, Components etc. Visualforce components, SOQL and SOSL languages
  • Strong functional knowledge of Customer Support and Quote-to-Cash
  • Experience with user management, Roles/Profiles, Permission sets, Custom objects, Page layouts, Custom fields, Validations, Managed Packages
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
