What you’ll be doing

• Participate in the reconciliation process and assist in identifying areas for improvement and automation.
• Assist in the development of Power BI reports by gathering requirements, preparing data, and building visualizations under guidance.
• Help identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and other teams to provide data support and contribute to ad hoc analyses.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and assist in preparing variance explanations.
• Analyse historical and current data trends to support decision-making and uncover potential issues or opportunities.
• Contribute to the automation of reporting processes, particularly for regulatory or internal reporting.
• Support efforts to improve data literacy by helping colleagues understand reports and data tools.

About you, you have

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Over a year of hands-on experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
• A solid understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Clear and effective communication skills, paired with a strong desire to learn and collaborate
• The ability to present data insights in a clear, structured way to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Query
• A good grasp of data collection, cleaning, and preparation techniques
• A natural curiosity about how databases and data structures function
• A flexible, proactive mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

It’s a plus if you also have…

• Experience in the fintech industry
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes
• Exposure to data warehousing projects
• Experience with forecasting and modelling
