Job Description:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 

As a Product Stewardship Engineer (m/f/*) for South Europe Region, you will be responsible for the most products in the 3M products portfolio. You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  

 

Here, you will make an impact by: 

  • Assuring compliance for New 3M Products introduction, by applying European and Local Regulatory law and 3M Policy guidelines and standards, 

  • Assuring on-going compliance for all 3M Products released on the market for all aspect related to Hazard communication, required national Environmental Reports (Waste, WEEE, Batteries, etc.), Product Registrations, Certifications, Declarations and all applicable local legislations, 

  • Handling local customer requests regarding Product Stewardship with support from European Business PS and European Subject Matter Expert 

  • Monitoring and assess impact of relevant emerging Local Regulatory Requirements and Trends 

  • Establishing and keep internal network to ensure information flow related to compliance aspects, including contacts with business functions, customer service, source of supply and external partners working with 3M 

 

Your Skills and Expertise   

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: 

  • Educational and technical background, ideally in Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Environmental background 

  • Ideally regulatory experience 

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) 

 

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

  • Project management,  

  • Ability to prioritize and execute,  

  • Good communication skills,  

  • Networking capabilities
