Job Description:

3M is seeking an Application Engineer for our Personal Safety Division (PSD). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring the effective application and integration of our personal safety products. This role involves working closely with sales teams, product development, and customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance worker safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the application and use of 3M personal safety products.

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored safety solutions.

• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and internal teams.

• Assist in the development and testing of new products and solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product application and performance.

• Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in personal safety technology.

주요 역할 및 책임

• 개인안전보호구 선정 및 교육: 작업장의 유해인자에 적합한 개인안전보호구를 선정하고, 고객에게 적절한 착용법을 교육합니다.

• 현장 및 온라인 교육: 현장 안전 교육을 실시하고, 온라인 교육 콘텐츠를 개발하여 사업장 내 적절한 개인안전보호구 사용을 지원합니다.

• 고객 문제 해결: 한국 시장과 고객의 요구를 면밀히 이해하고, 사업장 내 고객의 문제 해결을 위한 제품 시연, 교육 세션 및 기술 프레젠테이션을 수행합니다.

• 신제품 개발 지원: 한국의 개인보호구 시장과 전체 산업 동향을 파악하고 분석하여, 영업 및 제품개발팀과 협력하여 신제품 아이디어를 도출합니다.

• 글로벌 팀과의 협력: 한국의 개인보호구 시장 발전 방향, 산업안전보건 관련 국내 표준 및 규정 사항의 최신 정보를 취득하여 글로벌 팀에 보고합니다.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering, science discipline, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support or application engineering role, preferably in the safety equipment industry.

• Strong understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel as needed to support customers and sales teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in safety or engineering (e.g., CSP, CIH, PE).

• Experience with product development and testing.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI)

• 고객 및 영업 팀 지원을 위해 국내 출장 가능자

• 위 자격 요건 외, 산업 안전 및 보건 분야의 전문 자격증 (예: CSP, CIH) 취득자, 신제품 개발 및 테스트 경험, 안전보건 관련 국내외 표준 및 규정 (예: OSHA, ANSI) 관련 업무를 한 경우 우대함
