Job Description:

The 3M Electrical Market Division (EMD) operates as an OEM business unit within the electronics market. Key products include insulation tape, metal tape for FPCB circuit protection, battery thermal runaway propagation protection, and fire retardant film.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for electrical OEM materials application development and technical service to support OEM Korea business growth;

  • Capture the new VOC from key accounts to develop new opportunity

  • Lead the product modification based on VOC by spec-in at key account design centers in Power E

  • Catch/Support Auto E Penetration through key account application

  • Strengthen our customer relationship with R&D engineers by connecting 3M technology

  • Potential be Country AE Leader role to close/improve communication/alignment with business team

  • Potential could lead GMTT as Power E leader and support technical communication with  Asia/Global team

  • Track industry technology and market trends, generate more opportunities and idea hoppers, even NPI projects

Qualification

  • B.S. degree or above, major in polymer science, material, chemical, or adjacent domains;

  • 5+ years of working experience on Application Development and Technical Service in electrical OEM customers is prefer;

  • Be capable to lead and drive customer projects independently;

  • Strong industry and application knowledge in transformer or motor is plus;

  • Good communication skills and strong hands-on working capability;

  • Fluent verbal and written English;

  • Willingness to business travels.
