Description
Established engineering and manufacturing company has a new opening for an Applications Engineer. Contract to hire position starting ASAP!
Duties:
* Connect design engineering and sales to add value to customers
* Interact with company’s sales teams (inside and outside) and customers
* Provide sales training on new and existing product lines to internal/external customers
* Act as technical/product resource for OEM, Distributor and International Sales teams
* Assist with preparation of quotations for modified/custom products
* Create product installation and maintenance manuals
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree (technical preferred) or related Technical Degree
* Experience with power transmission and motion control
* Willingness to travel 20% of the time
* Strong communication skills
* Solidworks proficiency
