Role
We are looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join our engineering team. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting scalable web applications while working closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders. This is a 5-day onsite role based in Karachi, supporting projects in the banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using .NET technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Work with senior developers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs and backend services.
- Work with relational databases and write SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Follow software development best practices and SDLC processes.
- Collaborate with QA and other teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in .NET development; fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET, and Web APIs.
- Good understanding of OOP and software development concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to work 5 days onsite in Karachi.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is a plus.
